What is AMCAT?
AMCAT stands for aspiring mind computer adaptive test, is an employability assessment test conducted across the country to evaluate communication skill, reasoning, Aptitude and technical skill of a candidate.

AMCAT eligibility criteria
- Candidate should have passed or in the final year of their diploma, engineering, graduation or masters.
- There are no age limit and percentage marks criteria.
No of attempt
However, there is no such limit of maximum no of attempt but you can only schedule your second test after 45 days of the first test attempted.
Examination Fees
The AMCAT Test costs Rs 990 plus GST (including one year’s subscription). The cost will cover one scheduled test attempt and all the privileges that come with the package.
AMCAT Exam Pattern
AMCAT examination is divided into two modules, the first one is a compulsory module which is mandatory for the candidates of all stream and the Second one is domain specific module(Optional modules). You can choose the maximum of 2 optional modules based on your educational background and area of interest.

AMCAT cut off
AMCAT test is an adaptive test which means, Correct answer leads to the tougher question, while incorrect answers lead to easier ones. Your score depends on the time taken per question as well as the correct response.
Cut off is 75-80% for all the module. But still, to say any score above 90 percentile is considered good.
Test duration
The AMCAT exam is 3 hours long and there are no negative markings
Score validity
The AMCAT score is valid for a period of 3 years. In case you appear for AMCAT multiple times, the company which is conducting recruitments will decide on which of the scores should be considered.
