Educational Qualification
Candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from any recognized Board/ Institution.
Candidate must posses the Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Licence.

Bihar Police Driver Vacancy: Selection Procedure
- Written Test (Objective Type)
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Driving Test
Written Exam (Qualifying only)
- All the eligible candidates applied for the constable posts, shall be required to appear for the OMR Based Written Test of one paper (two hours duration) for 100 marks.
- Questions in written test will be objective type
- Questions will be asked from General Knowledge and Current Issues Subjects
Physical Efficiency Test
The candidates qualified in the above preliminary written test have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test and should meet the following requirements.
Running
- All category Men: 1.6 Km maximum in 7 minutes
- All Category Women: 1 Km maximum in 7 minutes
Shot-put
- All category Men: minimum 14 Feet throw with 16 pound weight.
- All Category Women: minimum 8 Feet throw with 12 pound weight.
Long Jump
- All category Men: minimum height 10 feet
- All Category Women: minimum height 7 feet
