East Coast Railway Recruitment for Trade Apprentice: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (Under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in respective Trades issued by NCVT/SCVT.
However for Trade Welder (Gas, Electric), sheet metal worker, wiremen and carpenter the minimum qualification is 8th class pass and the National Trade Certificate in notified trades issued by NCVT/SCVT
Age Limit as on 28.12.2019
Minimum Age: 15 Years
Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Upper Age Limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST applicants and 3 years in case of OBC Candidates.
- For PWD Candidates Upper Age limit is Relaxed by 10 years

East Coast Railway Apprentice: Selection Procedure
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in 10th Class/matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
For trades where minimum qualification is 8th pass, the merit list will be prepared by taking average of marks scored in 8th and ITI
There will he no written test or viva
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document verification to the extent of 1:5 times of the notified vacancies.

- Interested Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility Criteria can apply Online through the Official Website: www.rrcbbs.org.in till 06.01.2020.
- Click on the Apply Online link under Act Apprentice Tab.
- Fill the required detail like: Name, Fathers Name, Address, Education Qualification etc.
- Candidate can apply only for one unit.
- Pay the Application fees and upload the necessary documents.
- Take the printout of the application form for future reference.
