HP Lecturer Recruitment 2019: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the advertisement for the recruitment of 396 Lecturer (School New) posts in the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh.

The candidate shall be eligible for appointment, if he /she has passed Matriculation and 10 + 2 from any School / Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

HP Lecturer Recruitment 2019: Essential Qualifications

1. Academic Qualifications: Masters Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University (with minimum of 50% Marks in aggregate) or its equivalent. Candidates having Master‟s Degree in Public Administration are eligible for Lecturer in Political Science.
2. Lecturer Commerce: Commerce with Accountancy/ Financial Accountancy and income tax as major subject of study. Holder of Degree of MFC (Master of Finance Control) is also eligible for the post of Lecturer in Commerce subject from a recognized University.
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English.
4. Professional Qualification: Bachelor Education (B.Ed.) as professional qualification from recognized University / Institution with minimum 50% marks. OR Two years Integrated M.Sc. Ed. Course or an equivalent course from a recognized University.
5. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Himachal Pradesh.

Age Limit as on 01.01.2019

Candidates age should be in between 18 years and 45 years.

Five years relaxation in upper age limit is admissible only to the bonafide SC of H.P. / ST of H.P. / OBC of H.P. / WFF of H.P. / Persons with disabilities of H.P. candidates.

THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE EARLIER APPLIED IN RESPONSE TO ADVT. NO. 18/2019 DATED 02-11-2019 WHICH WAS WITHDRAWN ON 22-11-2019 AND HAD PAID THE EXAMINATION FEE, NEED NOT TO PAY THE EXAMINATION FEE AGAIN. THEY HAVE TO FILL THE NEW APPLICATION WITH THE SAME LOGIN ID WHICH WAS USED FOR EARLIER APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF LECTURER (SCHOOL-NEW)

HP Lecturer Recruitment 2019-2020: Selection Procedure

1. There shall be a written objective type examination (MCQ) (Computer Based Test / Offline test).
2. Marks obtained in written objective type Examination (either online or offline) shall be counted for deciding the merit of candidates.
3. The candidates, who will qualify the written objective type examination, will have to appear for evaluation.
4. Final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written objective type examination and evaluation based on the parameters devised by the Department

HP Lecturer Recruitment: 2019: How to Apply

1. Candidates are required to visit the website of the Commission at http://www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc and click the link to APPLY ONLINE FOR LECTURER POST.
2. For new user click on “NEW USER SIGNUP HERE” link on the web page and fill the parameters of Name, User ID, Password, Category, Gender, E-mail ID, Security Question & Answer and Date Of Birth. Then press the button “Create User”.
3. The candidates already registered with the commission for any of the Examinations/tests need not to register again. Such candidates should click on “REGISTERED USER” link.
4. The candidate is required to upload the images of recent Photograph and Signature Specimen
5. After successful submission of Application Form “E-Payment” link will be activated.
6. Submit the application form and take the printout.
