OPSC Lecturer Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Education Qualification
A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2″d Class in the Bachelor’s Degree. (For SC/ST Minimum percentage requirement is 50%)
NET in the concerned subject is the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post-graduate degree, but the candidates having Ph.D. Degree on the concerned subjects shall be eligible and exempted from the requirement of NET.
Age Limit
A candidate must be under 48 (forty-eight) years and above 21 (twenty one) years of age on the 1g January 2020, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1972 and not later than 1M January 1999.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC/Women/Ex-Serviceman and by 10 (ten) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% and more. PWDs belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category are eligible for cumulative age relaxation of 15 (fifteen) years i.e. 10 years under PWD category and 05 years under SC/ST/SEBC category.

OPSC Lecturer Recruitment: Selection Procedure
The candidates will be shortlisted and merit prepared as per their overall academic performance, as per the weight age laid down by the Commission. After due process of verification & scrutiny, shortlisted candidates will be called for the Viva Voce Test (Interview)
