PSPCL Assistant Lineman Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation OR equivalent
- Apprenticeship in the trade of Lineman and
- Experience in Electrical/Wireman trade from any Registered factory/ Registered firm/ Registered company/ Registered Institute/ A Class Contractor of Electrical/ Wireman.
- The candidate who posses higher education I.e, Degree/Diploma in Electrical engineering will be considered only if they have minimum qualification I.e, Apprenticeship in the trade of Lineman
Note: Experience is not mandatory for applying the post, if a candidate does not have any above said experience then his/her selection will be merely on basis of National Apprenticeship marks in Lineman trade.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have done Apprenticeship in PSPCL / PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB.
If above candidates are not available, the other candidates having Apprenticeship in the trade of Lineman from BBMB/ any other State etc. will be considered.
Age Limit as on 01.01.2019
Candidates Age should be in between 18-42 Years for General Category.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable for all reserved Categories candidates of Punjab state as per Punjab Govt. Instructions.

PSPCL Recruitment for Assistant Lineman: Selection Procedure
Selection will be made purely on merit basis. Marks calculation Criteria:
- National Apprenticeship in lineman trade: 90 Marks
- Experience in Electrician/Wireman trade from any registered factory/ registered firms/ registered company! registered Institute/ A Class Contractor of Electrical/ Wireman- 10 Marks
(One Mark will be given for every completed six months of experience subject to the ceiling of 10 Marks maximum.
Experience will only be considerable after the completion of National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in lineman trade till 30th September, 2019. Further, No experience will be considered after 30° September, 2019.
