Railway has released total of 35277 vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) through Railway NTPC 2019 Exam for undergraduate and graduate candidates. RRB has invited Online application for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. This would be a great opportunity for aspirants who are willing to work in the Railway sector.

RRB NTPC has released total  35277 vacancies of which 10628 vacancies are for undergraduate candidates and 24649 vacancies for graduate pass candidates.

Graduate Posts with Minimum Educational Qualification of a University Degree

Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC Exam:

Educational Qualification

• For Undergraduate level(level2 & level3) candidate should have passed 12^th Examination or its equivalent exam.
• For Graduate level post( Level 4,5 & 6) educational qualification is a university degree or its equivalent.

Note: Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational qualification should not apply.

Age Limit

Undergraduate level:- For Undergraduate level upper age limit is 30 years and lower age limit is 18 years.

Graduate Level:- Upper age limit is 33 years and the lower age limit is 18 years.

Note:- Relaxation in age for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD, ExSM will be applicable as per the government norms.

RRB NTPC Exam Fees

Note:

• For S.No 1 out of this fee of Rs 500 an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT
• For S.No 2 total fee of Rs 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1stStage CBT.

RRB NTPC Selection Procedure

RRB NTPC Selection process is purely on merit basis. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in first & second stage whereas other stages will be qualifying in nature. 

• First stage CBT.
• Second stage CBT.
• Typing Skill Test (For Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper). And Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (Only for candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master)
• Document verification and Medical

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) – Common for all

The 1st Stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the posts.

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices. There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):

Note:- Separate 2nd Stage CBT shall be taken for each of the 7th CPC Level i.e. Level 2,3, 4, 5 and 6 with the graded difficulty level. If candidates are eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their educational qualifications, they have to give common 1st stage CBT and corresponding 2nd stage CBT for each level of 7th CPC.
